Puget Sound Club has a website!

I know what you are thinking - how is it that an alumnae club in one of the Internet Capitals of the World has not had a website for several years? I'm afraid I can't explain it, but I can introduce you to our shiny new website. Take a look around and let us know what you think.

Note from the Co-President

The Mount Holyoke campus is absolutely breath-taking at this time of the year - leaves of gold, brown, fiery orange and yellow litter the trees and ground. In the early fall I seldom took the opportunity to peacefully appreciate all the beauty that surrounded me in New England. Then came Mountain Day! Few days could rival that one when the bells tolled and many of us headed out to spend time with nature. This year Mountain Day in the Pacific Northwest falls on October 20th (see inside for details). Take some time to appreciate the beauty of Washington!
October is here and soon the holiday season will soon be upon us. I, like others, will become caught up in the whirlwind of the holidays – hosting parties, attending parties, attending seasonal programs and battling crowds for never ending gift-buying (where do all these people come from?). Our society has become so materialistic. It is during this time when I find it especially important to remain mindful of what is truly important. I can forget my belief that this season is about giving from my heart. Not only to those within my immediate circle but to those less fortunate than I. I know that when I take the time to share selflessly with others that the rewards are great and long lasting. I encourage you to remember those in need during the holidays and stay connected to those you love.
Let me just share that there is no better time to stay connected to alumnae in the Puget Sound than now! Teas and hikes and plays and desserts are all coming in the near future. Yes, yes, I know that you are busy but you won’t regret taking time to join us. You can always check our club website for details on any event and much more. Oh, by the way, when you see Erin P, don’t forget to thank her for the fabulous job she did with that website. Until next time, be good to yourself.
